Mifzal Adam

Mifzal is the Chief Audit Executive of Maldive Gas Pvt Ltd. With more than 14 years of experience, he has dedicated his career to internal auditing, governance, risk management, and building strong control frameworks.

He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Association, and as one of its Co-Founders, he has been instrumental in advancing the internal audit profession in the country by building platforms for collaboration and professional growth.

Mifzal spoke at the Maldives Accountants Forum 2025, where he advocated for professional development, continuous learning, and the advancement of the internal audit community.

His career spans multiple industries, giving him a strong understanding of business operations and control environments. Mifzal is also a member of the Global Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), reflecting his commitment to international best practices and continuous professional development.

In addition, he holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting and Finance from the University of the West of England, Bristol, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK.
