To be the leading authority and driving force advancing internal audit excellence in the Maldives.

To champion the internal audit profession in the Maldives by:

Uniting and representing internal audit professionals and serving as their voice.
Advancing professional development.
Promoting ethical standards and best practices.
Building strategic partnerships and enhancing recognition.
Elevating the value and visibility of internal audit across all sectors.

The objectives of the Association as stipulated in our Articles of Association are as follows:

Develop the field of internal audit in the country.

Establish an official organization representing all those involved in the field of internal audit in the country.

Establish a chapter on 'Institute of Internal Auditors' in the country, through IIA Global.

Engage with all relevant agencies and seek the support needed to develop the profession further.

Conduct training and awareness activities to develop the field of internal audit in the country.
