This May, IAA Maldives marked Internal Audit Awareness Month 2026 under the theme “Future-Ready Internal Audit.” The month brought the profession into the spotlight through a full lineup of activities:
- A 10-question Future-Ready Audit Quiz ran throughout May, testing the community’s knowledge while raising awareness of what it means for internal audit to stay ahead of change.
- A dedicated awareness session at The Maldives National University introduced business students to what internal audit is, why it matters, and the career opportunities the profession offers in the Maldives.
- The month closed with the IAA Maldives Community Gathering, bringing members together for an evening of connection and shared purpose — and celebrating the quiz winner live.
